In 2016 the Ministry of Education implemented of new curriculum guidelines in which these Earth science topics was spread over Grades 7 and 8. In the courses of presenting inservice workshops we have also discovered that many of the lessons are suitable for Earth Science lessons in higher grades. Thus, beginning with the 2018 print run, we have omitted any reference to grade level in the resource unit name. See the Earth Science Resource Unit science curriculum correlations here

The Earth Science Resource Unit is available to teachers, TTOCs, and student teachers teachers only through a half-day instructional workshop. Find out when the Next In-Service Workshop is.
